Nucar Cares Celebrates the 2026 Vermont Maple Festival Parade in St. Albans

Nucar Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of St. Albans was proud to roll through downtown St. Albans for the 2026 Vermont Maple Festival Parade, joining neighbors, families, local businesses, and community groups for one of Franklin County’s most beloved spring traditions.
As part of the Nucar Cares initiative, our team participated in support of the Vermont Maple Festival and the people who make it possible year after year. With Nucar vehicles in the parade, crowds lining the streets, and plenty of maple-season excitement in the air, it was a memorable day in the heart of St. Albans.

We were also joined by a very special guest: Champ, the mascot of our partner, the Vermont Lake Monsters. Champ brought the kind of energy only a Lake Monster can, helping us celebrate the festival while looking ahead to another summer of baseball in Vermont.
A St. Albans Tradition Worth Celebrating
The Vermont Maple Festival has long been a signature event for St. Albans, bringing the community together around one of Vermont’s most iconic traditions. The 2026 festival celebrates 59 years of maple-season fun, with three days of pancake breakfasts, maple tastings, live entertainment, family activities, vendor exhibits, contests, and the annual parade.

For Nucar, the parade is more than a chance to wave from the road. It is a chance to show up for the community we call home. The Maple Festival reflects so much of what makes St. Albans special: local pride, small-business support, agricultural heritage, volunteer spirit, and families coming together downtown for a shared celebration.
Nucar Cares in Action
Nucar Cares is built around a simple idea: strong communities deserve strong support. Across New England, Nucar helps champion causes and events connected to health, education, veterans, environmental conservation, community engagement, and local tradition.
Supporting the Vermont Maple Festival fits that mission naturally. The festival highlights Vermont’s maple industry, brings people into downtown St. Albans, and gives residents and visitors a reason to celebrate the arrival of spring together. For our team at Nucar Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of St. Albans, being part of that moment is something we value deeply.
Champ Helps Bring the Fun
Champ’s appearance made the day even sweeter. As the mascot of the Vermont Lake Monsters, Champ is a familiar face for baseball fans across the region and a crowd favorite wherever he goes.

The Lake Monsters are based in Burlington and play home games at Delta Dental Diamond at Centennial Field. Their 2026 season begins with three road games from May 27–29 before the team returns to Burlington for its home opener against the New Britain Bees on Saturday, May 30 at 3:05 p.m.
That made Champ’s visit to the Maple Festival Parade the perfect bridge between two Vermont favorites: maple season in St. Albans and baseball season in Burlington.
Thank You, St. Albans
Thank you to the Vermont Maple Festival organizers, volunteers, parade participants, the Vermont Lake Monsters, and everyone who came out to cheer from the sidewalks. Events like this do not happen by accident. They happen because people care, pitch in, and keep local traditions alive.
